Some of you may or may not have heard of the Jewellery company Blacktied.

If not please please do me a favour and go and check them out http://www.blacktied.co.uk

There will be even more of a reason to at the end... so keep reading ;)

Myself and Blacktied have been working together since 15th August, and I couldn't be happier. They are a very unique company, selling some really pretty bits and pieces. From midi rings to earrings, there is something for everyones style.

Here are a few of the pieces that I picked out..

This necklace is so beautiful, not one photograph can give it the justice of how pretty it is when its on. It's so easy to wear with any outfit because of the simplicity, something I always look for in Jewellery. I paired it with my black choker from Topshop.

I have been having a serious obsession with midi rings lately, I just think they are a really simple way to accessorise any outfit if you aren't a jewellery person. These ones just fuelled my obsession even more and they haven't left my fingers since they arrived on my doorstep.

These two cuffs are my favourite pieces out of everything. They are so personal to me and I love they way they look on, being a cuff you don't have to fiddle with small fiddly do up bits, which is heaven to my ears. Just slip them on and your good to go. "Happiness is a journey, not a destination" has always been something I always used to say to myself a few years ago, so when I saw the bracelet I fell instantly in love. Of course I had to get my blog name personalised onto the bracelet, because well who wouldn't. I'm proud of my blog so want to be reminded of it.

So there is a few pieces I picked out but please go and have a look for yourself all the other beautiful items they do.

And don't worry if you fall in love and can't leave it on the webpage Blacktied have kindly given me a 15% off code to give to all you readers... just type AVENUE15 at the checkout.

Hurry though this code is only available until 25th September.

Go and have fun shopping..

Bag - Primark sale

I am all one for simple clothes, simple outfits and simple accessories. A simple white sweater (trying my best american accent) is guaranteed to be found in my basket, the fact of having a bad day but having the white sweater in my wardrobe to save the day, indescribable.
I love that I can throw on a pair of jeans with it and walk out the door with my trusty converse.

Kimono and Crop

Friday, August 08, 2014

Kimono - Select
Crop top - River Island
Jeans - Topshop
Heels - Primark
Watch - Michael Kors

As my love for Crop Top goes, I would say I'm head over heels. I find them so easy to wear with simple jeans to a patterned midi skirt. Now I know I'm  not the pettiest of girls so I always match tighter fit crops with a Kimono, it just keeps my modesty a little bit more hidden. This crop top is from River Island, I love the neckline and the tiny straps for £16 it just had to be bought. I matched it with my perfect holiday Kimono from Select. I was worried about getting hot with the long sleeves, but the material is so thin it feels weightless so which cocktail to get was my new No.1 worry. These jeans are the famous Jamie High Waisted jeans from my last outfit post but in black. Yes, I went back and had to purchase them again but it's fine, I now have options. I have been lusting over chunky shoes for ages, especially http://www.my1stwish.co.uk/new-in/kelis-white-cleated-sole-platform-heel-shoes.html from Public Desire. They sell the most gorgeous shoes. ( No doubt there will be a post in a couple of weeks with these new shoes) When I found these in Primark I was so shocked and excited to style them.

Agent Freeman.

Friday, August 01, 2014

I am the person who is so against watching action and crime films/tv shows, ask my sister she has to put up with my addiction to reality tv on a daily basis.

BUT I was sat with my sister while she was watching this show about the fbi catching criminals, I was completely hooked, couldn't focus on anything else. 'What is this?!?!'.... CRIMINAL MINDS.

It is about a team made up of 7 people, including a genius, tech nerd and a rather hot guy. They all work for the FBI's Behavioural Analysis Unit. For the crimes they have to solve, they focus on profiling the criminal rather than the crime itself.

I even made my sister start from the beginning, we're currently at the end of season 6. The bad part is we have been watching it for about 2 months, every time I get home my first words are 'criminal minds?'... where me and my sister then spend the rest of the evening watching episode after episode till it gets to dark and we get scared of murderers.

I think I'm ready to accept that I have a problem. I have caught myself crying twice now, I have become so attached with the characters, when they're hurt my emotions can't cope. I know... I'm strange or just overly emotional.

I love how there is more of a story behind the characters than just watching them save people. We actually find out about their lives, their history and most of all how they are their own little family looking out for each other.

If you love programmes like this you will love Criminal minds. It's so easy to watch and loose the track of time, every episode is so gripping. When I hear people watching so many episodes of the same show so quickly I always think 'how?!.. how do you not get bored?!' I take that thought back completely... I don't think I could ever get bored of criminal minds.

Some episodes are slightly scary and incredibly jumpy... (the amount of times I've had to grab my sisters arm in fear). But screaming at the telly when you know who the unsub (technical fbi talk) is, makes me feel like I'm helping.. they just don't listen to me.

I also have to introduce you all to Morgan. You will all thank me.

Mmmm, Now you have to go and watch it for him.

THANK YOU CRIMINAL MINDS FOR MAKING ME AN OBSESSIVE PERSON I DIDNT KNOW I WAS.
and also for my sister for introducing me.
